Soludo approves 100% implementation of CONHESS for Joint Health Workers

Awka- Anambra State governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has approved 100% implementation of the Consolidated Health Salary Structure, CONHESS, 2024 for all categories of health workers in the state.

A circular signed by the state Head of Service, HOS, Dame Theodora Igwegbe dated 2nd October, 2025, listed the affected health workers.

They are Nurses and Nurses Anesthetist/ Psychiatrist, Community Health Technicians, Dental Therapists, Medical Laboratory Scientists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Pharmacy Technicians, Radiographers and Physiotherapists.

The HOS directed all relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs, the Local Government Service Commission, the Accountant General for the State and the Accountant General for the Local Governments, to ensure immediate implementation of the directive.
