Senator Umeh launches road construction project in Anambra Central

The senator representing Anambra Central senatorial zone, Chief Victor Umeh has flagged off the construction of 3km Bucki Poly-Ogidi ani Road in Umuoji, Idemili North local government area of the state.
This project is in fulfillment of one of the promises Senator Umeh made during his inauguration in June 2023, demonstrating his commitment to serving constituency.
The road project, which will be completed in phases, is part of his many constituency projects underway in the Anambra Central Senatorial District.
During the launch ceremony, stakeholders and community members praised Senator Umeh for keeping his promises.
The initial stage of road grading and asphalt laying has been completed, with the remaining sections to follow soon.
Senator Umeh has been busy of late with projects to improve the lives of his constituents. Recently, he commenced the drilling of a 900 feet solar-powered borehole with an overhead tank at Uffa Village Aguluzigbo to address water scarcity in the area.
He has also flagged off the construction of a block of six classrooms at Udoka Primary School Eziowelle in Idemili North local government area and commenced the construction of one block of six classrooms and toilets at Eziogboo Primary School Amansea in Awka North local government area.
In addition, Senator Umeh has awarded scholarships to 223 students and facilitated employment opportunities for about 20 constituents.
