Motherhood is divine responsibility, says Mrs Soludo at mother's Sunday

Awka- The wife of the Anambra State governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo has felicitated with mothers on the occasion of mother's Sunday, reminding them that motherhood is a divine responsibility.

In a statement to mark the occasion, Mrs Soludo urged women to continue to give their best for the good of the society.

"Motherhood is one divine responsibility that has no material quantification. Being a mother is a rare blessing; a gift that should never ever be taken for granted.

Motherhood is God's call to serve a scared purpose. It's an assignment beyond the home. It's a duty of passion and grace.

For your sacrifices, extraordinary courage, resilience, and eternal closure, the world celebrates you today and beyond.

No gift, treasure, and love should ever be enough for the price of motherhood. Celebrate that mother in your life today and every other day", she said.

Reminding men that the best gift they can give to their wives on such an occasion is love, presence and prayers, she wished Anambra women a memorable Mothers' Sunday celebration.

"To every hard-working and compassionate mother in Anambra State and elsewhere, take your flowers. You're the saints we see", Mrs Soludo added.
