Jnr Pope: Two boat operators arrested, producer turns self in to police

The Anambra State Police command has said that two boat operators of the ill-fated boat that claimed the lives of three Nollywood actors, including Jrn Pope, have been arrested and kept in police custody in connection with the incident.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Tochukwu Ikenga also said that other members of the cast and crew of the movie would be invited for questioning.

He assured that nothing would be swept under the carpet with regards to the investigation, which has already begun.

Meanwhile, Ikenga has said that the producer of the movie Junior Pope was featuring in before he and others met their death in Anam River, Ms Adanma Luke, has turned herself in to the police.

According to the PPRO, Adanma voluntarily turned herself in to the police and had written a statement.
