Ganduje's political ingenuity has put APC ahead of other political parties - Okpala

The political ingenuity of the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has put the party ahead of other political parties in the country, an aide to Ganduje has said.

Senior Special Assistant to Ganduje on public enlightenment, Chief Oliver Okpala, in a statement, said the national chairman's programme had made APC a sure ticket.

Reacting to the vote of confidence passed on Ganduje and the APC National Working Committee, NWC, by the party's leadership, Okpala said that the accolades and endorsement that came the way of his principal were a testament to his outstanding and untrammelled leadership stature.

Okpala said: "His political sagacity and prowess are assets and qualities that have showcased Dr Ganduje as a leader with sound political acumen to continue to steer the ship of the APC to a safe anchor.

Against the wishes and expectations of many naysayers, you can see what happened. The very powerful NEC of the APC expressed confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s leadership of the country and Dr. Ganduje’s steering of the party.

The NEC passed a vote of confidence on Dr Abdullahi Ganduje for the remarkable record of successes that he has led the party to attain.

Successes in electoral victories, in holding the party together and creating opportunities for members and leaders of the party to dialogue and engage with each other, express themselves freely and ensure that APC operates more cordially.

You can see the clear peace, decorum and stability that the APC has enjoyed under Dr. Ganduje and his entire National Working Committee. People are rushing into the party in droves because in Ganduje's APC they have seen hope, civility and security.

I believe that this would spur Ganduje and his NWC to do more and take the party to achieve more success even as we prepare for 2027.

You know that 2027 is just by the corner, so our party would be entering into the field, very strong and united, without any distraction.

So we commend the leadership of the APC, President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Akpabio and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen for the confidence reposed in Dr. Ganduje and his team."

Recall that the APC NEC meeting was the first under President Bola Tinubu, who assumed office on the party’s platform in May 2023.

The meeting was attended by the President, his deputy, Kashim Shettima, Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen.
