Federal Poly Oko gets Acting Rector

The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, has appointed Dr. Okeke Augustina Ugonwa Genevieve as the new Acting Rector of the institution.

The announcement was made by the outgoing Acting Rector, Dr. Ubaka Chukwugekwu. According to the statement, Dr. Okeke’s appointment takes effect from February 1, 2025, and will last for a period of six months or until a substantive Rector is appointed .

The appointment is seen as a significant development in the institution’s efforts to ensure continuity and stability in its leadership.

Okeke is expected to bring her wealth of experience and expertise to bear in her new role, as she is expected to work towards advancing the institution’s goals and objectives.

The former Rector urged the Polytechnic community to cooperate with his successor and support her efforts to move the institution forward.
