Anyaoku to Soludo: You're the best thing to happen to Anambra

Former Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku has described Governor Chukwuma Soludo as the best thing to have happened to Anambra State.

Anyaoku's praise came after he toured the state's ongoing infrastructure projects, including the new government house, Governor's lodge, Solution Fun City, and Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square , all in Awka.

"What I have been shown by the Governor is one of the most impressive developments. The synchronization of the area, with the three arms of government, required a very visionary planner like Governor Soludo, Anyaoku added .

He commended Soludo for his foresight and attention to detail, noting that the buildings were designed to last.

"No future Governor of Anambra State can build anything more in terms of the residence and staff office of the governor. I have seen an amphitheatre of about 250 capacity before, but this one is truly impressive," he said.

Governor Soludo, who led Anyaoku on the tour, described the visit as humbling.

He described Anyaoku as Africa's most distinguished statesman and expressed gratitude for his achievements.

"We have to build to last. The 33-year-old jinx will be broken in the next few weeks," Soludo said.
