Anambra: Withdraw from November 8 Guber election for Soludo, activist urges aspirants

An Awka- based human rights activist, Comrade Osita Obi, has advised governorship aspirants for the November 8 election to withdraw from the race and endorse the incumbent governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo.

Addressing journalists in Awka, Obi said the aspirants should rather channel their resources into the state's security endowment fund in support of Governor Soludo.

According to him, his experience after supervising Soludo's projects in various parts of the state was enough evidence of the governor's commitment to the development of the state, adding that his governance progress has eliminated the need for contenders in the forthcoming election.

He criticized those attacking the governor, saying even though they have the right to demand improved security for the people, they should do so with respect and decorum, rather than resorting to personal attacks on the governor.
