The newly built Anambra State Government House commissioned recently by President Bola Tinubu has hosted its first state Executive Council meeting.

The historic meeting breaks the 34-year jinx of the state lacking a permanent Government House.

During the meeting, the Council relived the successful visit of President Tinubu and commended Anambra people for their warm hospitality, which left a lasting impression on the President and his entourage.

During the meeting, the Council reviewed the report of the status of the Kaolin factory's report and explained that the company is ready for commercial production.

According to the meeting, privatisation of the company will follow the completion of the proof of concept to ensure profitable operation.

The Council also set in motion processes for the launch of the Awka Country Club, which is a component of the recently commissioned Solution Fun City.
