Anambra court orders three native doctors back to Agunechemba detention facility

An Anambra High Court sitting in Awka has ordered the continued detention of the three native doctors accused of preparing charms for their clients back to the Agunechemba security facility till the next adjourned date.
The three native doctors standing trial before Justice Jude Obiora are Mr Chidozie Nwangwu popularly known as Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki, Mr Onyebuchi Okocha known as Onye Eze and Ekene Igboezekwe popularly known as Eke Hit.
The suspects were arrested and detained by the Agunechemba security outfit between February 6 and February 16, 2025.
The prosecution counsel, F.C. Okeke, told the court that the charges against the suspect had been served them and that they were ready to proceed with the case
However, the defense counsel to the the suspects informed the court that the court processes were not served in good time to enable them to respond.
The presiding Judge, Justice Jude Obiora ordered that the suspects be returned to Agunechemba detention facility to make for proper processes
He adjourned the cases to April 11 for proper arraignment and pleading.
