Anambra 2025: Soludo 'll secure landslide victory, says leader of Anambra traders

The President-General of Building Materials International Market, Ogidi, Idemili-North local government area of Anambra State, Chief Jude Nwankwo, has predicted a landslide victory for Governor Chukwuma Soludo in the November 8 governorship election.

Nwankwo said in an interview in Awka that the governor has100% chance of winning because of his sterling performance and monumental achievements in all areas of governance.

Speaking on the chances of the candidates of some of the political parties, Nwankwo said that while the candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, cannot match Governor Soludo, Chief George Moghalu is a product of the factional chairman of the Labour Party, which is not favoured by the Supreme Court judgement.

According to him, LP currently parades two candidates, a development that has virtually weakened the party ahead of the governorship election.

"All the candidates of the APC, PDP, LP, YPP and others put together cannot match Governor Soludo because Anambra people are no longer talking about the governor winning in the 21 local government areas, but winning in all the wards and polling units across the state", he stated.

Nwankwo said that as a grassroot person, he knows that Governor Soludo is gathering massive support and solidarity across the state and that nothing will stop him from coasting to victory.

He noted that the governor has transformed the capital territory with infrastructure and befitting amenities such as the new Government House, the new Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, the brand new Solution Fun City Amusement Park and other numerous projects in all the communities.

"The governor's transformative governance does not only stop in the Awka capital territory, but also extends to all the nooks and crannies of the state," Nwankwo stated.

He observed that the unanimous nomination of Governor Soludo during the APGA governorship primary was an indication that there is no serious challenge against him in the governorship poll.
