Anambra 2025: Ganduje to commission new APC secretariat in Awka Thursday

Ahead of the November 8, 2025 governorship election in Anambra State, the National chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, will visit the state on Thursday to commission the new state secretariat of the party.

It was gathered that Ganduje will use the opportunity to visit the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe and other stakeholders in the state as part of the party's mobilization efforts ahead of the election.

The new APC state secretariat, was procured for the party by one of the party's governorship aspirants, Sir Paul Chukwuma.

The state chairman of APC, Sir Basil Ejidike and the Secretary, Chidi Oji, described the one-day visit as significant, especially coming on the heels of two recent appointments of members of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, by President Bola Tinubu, which has brought disillusionment among APC members in the state.

Recall that the APC national chairman recently listed Anambra among the states it would win in future governorship election.
