Anambra 2025: Ezenwafor wins Anambra PDP governorship ticket

An Abuja-based real estate developer, Chief Jude Ezenwafor has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag-bearer for the November 8, 2025, Anambra State governorship election.

Ezenwafor, who was the sole aspirant at the primaries of the party, was unanimously endorsed by 853 delegates from the party's 21 local government chapters at the Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre in Awka.

After the voting, the leader of the PDP National Committee, Col. Chijioke Onwubuya (retd), declared Ezenwafor the winner.

In his acceptance speech, Ezenwafor thanked delegates for their support, urging them to work towards the party's victory in the November 8 governorship election.

"I thank all the delegates for the massive support and their endorsement. We are going to work hard to ensure the party wins the governorship election", he said.
